Sure but I think the point is valid that if sea level pressure is
reasonable, then it makes sense to not object to station pressures at
altitude.
Given config of altitude, it strikes me as best to have a default for
sea level pressure max/min and then compute the corresponding station
pressures and use those.
(No patch of course, and I'm near enough sea level not to need it.)
