GW1000 lost connection

We installed a new WH2650 clone weather station and all was well for a day or two, including through the storms in Scotland on Friday 24th Jan. However it's now started losing connection between the weather station and the GW1000. 

What might be causing this?

What does "between the weather station and the GW1000" mean? The Console (GWwhatever) doesn't receive any signal from the 6 in 1 sensor? If so, many reasons. Low on battery, bad signal... sometimes it's just a tiny bit you move the device: my GW2000 is mounted on the TV's wall mount, if I move it just 5cm too close to the wall, the signal quality drops from full to nothing. It can be anything, like garden chairs outside you moved, because of the storm. Even things that aren't directly in he line of sight can cause the signal quality to drop significantly.

Intermittently,  randomly, for a random amount of time, the connection is completly lost. The sensors are on a roof, the gw1000 is on a shelf next to the Pi. It's not a domestic setting but in an unused corner of an office.

Relocate

We could try to relocate the GW1000. It's bound by where there are power points, but relocate in what way?

First try to move it just a bit out of the corner. Could beenough. Does the station provide signal quality information? If yes, it should be in the database, print a plot, maybe you see something that's not as random as it seems at a first glance.

The issue turned out to be that the DHCP server needed rebooting. Inspecting the log showed the Pi wasn't able to reach the GW1000 over the network, despite both the Pi and GW1000 being almost next door to the WAP. Since the reboot (6th Jan from memory) it has run perfectly.
