weewx with new hardware

Hi,

I am trying to configure a new weatherstation from FieldKit for use with weewx. So far I have succeeded in getting the values from the hardware into a file at the rate of 1 reading every minute in one line. Is there a way to get weewx to read from this file and update to its database?

I believe the way forward may be to write a new driver (perhaps starting from simulator.py). Any comments on this would be most useful.

I have the weewx/simulator running on my RPi4 running the astroberry distribution.

See the example "fileparse" that comes with WeeWX. It's in the "examples" subdirectory.
