I was cleaning my station last year and as a result recorded a crazy high rainfall rate which I'd like to zero out but I'm not sure houw.

--> Highest Rain Rate 460.8 mm/h 09/06/22 15:00:00

I'm running Weewx v 4.10.2 on a dietpi (Debian variant).
Loading up the database into DB Browser I can sort the columns and i believe this corresponds with the top record in the image below. The sum and wsum fields confuse me though, I'm guessing they correspond to perhaps  daily/weekly grand total of some sort?
Can anyone offer some guidance what to do here please? Thanks!

In general, you should modify the main, archive database, then use the tool wee_database to rebuild the daily summary. Don't try to edit the summary directly. See the wiki article Cleaning up old 'bad' data.

But, if you're curious what sum and wsum represent, see the section on Daily Summaries in the Developer's Notes.

Thanks Tom, that's exactly the information I needed, I'll follow the Wiki article on cleaning up bad data, seems straightforward enough.

Done, also set boundaries in StdQC as per the Wiki to prevent happening next time i clean it.
Thanks again!
