Outlook for any better support/implementation of the Ecowitt/Froggit GW1000/DP1500 WIFI Dongle & Sensors?

I´m wondering if it´s planned/in progress, that Weewx will support the GW1000 better than today?

The interceptor driver´s developments/updates seem to stagnate since months, new sensors like the WH57 Lightning not yet supported.

What´s about the Ecowitt/GW1000 API? Question if the Weewx developers are in contact/process with Ecowitt?

Sounds good.

Also the new probe with SHT35(WH31-EP/WH32-EP) looks good and are ready to order.
