Belchertown skin : no index.html file

Hello.
The Belchertown index.html file is not being created.

I have : 
1- Debian 14 
2- Weewx 5.2.0 PIP installation

weewx.conf

    [[Belchertown]]
       skin = Belchertown
       HTML_ROOT = /var/www/html/weewx/belchertown
       enable = true

Do you have any idea what my problem might be?

Not yet. We would need to see your weewx logs. Please set debug=1 and restar weewx.

What kind of computer are you running on ? From your prompt it looks like you are logged into a NAS?

AttributeError: module 'locale' has no attribute 'format'
Afair there are several threads here already regarding this, since I don't use belchertown I am not 100% sure, but I think your version of belchertown needs to be updated.

Thank you, that was indeed my problem.

So I edited: weewx-data/bin/user/belchertown.py
and replaced 

locale.format
with 

locale.format_string

And surely you have some version of Belchertown that you got from
somewhere. Which and from where is probably important!

I don't use this skin, but my impression from the list is that there is
a continuation fork with many fixes/updates (and probably new bugs
too; that's just how software is!).

So you may wish to seek out the fork and try it. But at least people
know which bits you are running now.

Greg - there are two at a minimum.

• Pat's original is at https://github.com/poblabs/weewx-belchertown but it's looking like it's unmaintained
  
• The active fork is at https://github.com/uajqq/weewx-belchertown-new

Both seem to act the same for me in my testing so far.  I haven't tried to keep up with the differences.
