Unable to set app locale

Hi.

I've installed weewx on Ubuntu 18.04 and it's really a big improvement compared to wview, thank you for the development!

I'm trying to set the Italian locale but I cannot make it display localized dates. I've set the LANG var in /etc/default/locale and with localectl to it_IT.UTF-8 but it still displays dates in US format.

I'm using Italian localized Sofaskin skin.

What else can I check?

Errata corrige: now it seems fixed, so either I was looking at a stale report or my eyes were closed...
