I am happy to support the wmr300 - at least while I have a working system, but I'd like to understand better how that will fit in with future weewx releases.

Does it mean I will have to set up a separate github project to provide any future changes that become necessary?

Cameron.

Thanks, Cameron, for your offer.

Mostly, it means answering technical support questions and, if necessary, making changes in the code base should a bug appear.

It requires some technical chops.

The WMR300 code can either be hosted in your own GitHub account, which would be easiest for you, or it can be a separate repository under the weewx account, in which case pull requests would be required to change the code.

Have you worked with GitHub before?

I have a grand total of 1 PR, which was for this driver, and that is the total of my GitHub activities.

I have been doing  some of the tech support for the wmr300 driver already, so I don't expect that to change much.  It's been very quite lately so there must be no bugs left.  Either that, or I've missed seeing the reports.

Cheers,
Cameron.
