memory usage growth test for v4 ?

Tom - I updated my pi3b+ a week or two ago to include my 'mem' skin, which is based on your old extension to capture memory usage.

Very interesting running it on a system with enough ram to have it actually able to grow for quite a while before running out of headroom.   Very clear memory usage growth.

Graphs are at https://www.skahan.net/weewx_weatherflow/mem/  - that system is Raspbian based on Debian 9.6 and weewx 3.9.1, so it's a bit behind in versions on both.

If there was any interest, I 'could' install the same skins on my current pi4 running Raspbian 10.0 and the current v4 beta and just let it run, if you perhaps needed a memory growth test while the other beta stuff is happening.  Let me know.

yes - thanks for the reminder.

I was asking more along the lines of whether the v4 beta (or alphas) had been tested for similar memory growth yet.

update - beta1 is 'very' solid with respect to memory.   Stabilized at 50 MB total, 32 MB RSS, 11 MB Shared, and very very steady.

Similar results for me. After almost 2 weeks of uptime, RSS is flat, VSS has grown by about 3 MB, if that.
