It seems to partially work. It will report missing records, but WU does not update if wunderfixer sends missing records. So it can no longer fix anything, simple report status. 

It's still useful to me, I use it in a daily report just to monitor if uploads seem to be working reasonably well.

Below is today's report for yesterday's activity.

WeatherUnderground Data Check :
Using configuration file /home/weewx/weewx.conf.
Using database binding 'wx_binding', which is bound to database 'archive_sqlite'

    I use it on cron every just before my local midnight.  It sort of works . . . although I just ran the following interactively 3 times

back to back, and it always reports the same missing record.  Sometimes it's better than others.  It's probably worth keeping unless

it's a bother when upgrading weewx from one release to the next.

    After watching Weather Underground more carefully, I have noted it fails on regular uploads more often than it works. As I mentioned above, wunderfixer receives erratic and inconsistent responses. I have therefore decided not to upload anything to Weather Underground.

Sounds like it's time to pull the plug on it.

It's roots go back 15 years. In its youth, it was quite effective.

I think WU definitely needs fixing.  Looks like it drops offline for hours especially today.  I checked a few sites' tables and it's not just my site failing uploads for 4 hours at a time.

Of course WU needs to be fixed, but we can't do anything about that. The question is whether, given the WU restrictions, wunderfixer helps. Sounds like it does not.
