I answered a -user question about how to syslog to a separate file, but I cannot find the old example rsyslog config file in the b5 that I'm running.  Did that stuff get removed perhaps, or did I miss a step in installing and/or upgrading my test VM ?

It should be available. I've put it on the "TODO" list.

With pip installs, "resource files", such as the systemd files and, yes, rsyslog files, must be included as "package data." It ends up deep in the Python library tree under site-packages, where it is difficult for the user to find. It has to be uncovered as part of the "weectl station create" process.
