Positive/negatvie NES

Hi there,

I would be grateful for a clear answer to this question:

If I copy-paste my differentially expressed genes with + sign meaning up-regulated,

and with - sign meaning down-regulated, and perform GSEA,

in the results:

• positive normalized Enrichment Score means the pathway is up-regulated?

• negative normalized Enrichment Score means the pathway is down-regulated?
