Inheriting from HTMLFormElemnet

When I inherit from from element, doesn't this mean that my element will automatically get form element's behaviors like form submit? Why my element that inherits from from is not doing from submission?

I've made this bin to demonstrate what I mean.

To extend a native element as you're trying to do, you'll need to create a type extension element, the syntax is a little different.
