folder structure and calling controller without folder path

Hello

i just noticed that calling

http://my.site.pt/app/controller

and

http://my.site.pt/controller

returns the same thing. So what is the point of having the app folder ???

Is this a correct behaviour or am i having any bug in my side ???

It's the default app according to how you set things up.  Other apps require that you specify the app [folder name].  Are you using a routes.py?
