ossec-remoted: ERROR: (1218): Unable to send message to '123': Socket operation on non-socket

Hello,

I see periodically the following error in the log file ossec.log:

ossec-remoted: ERROR: (1218): Unable to send message to '123': Socket operation on non-socket

What does it mean? And how to get rid of this error? Thanks.

Hi Nick,

Sorry for the late response. 

First of all, which version of Wazuh are you running in your manager and agents?

The error occurs when an agent disconnects while the manager is sending the shared configuration (such as the agent.conf or merged.mg file) to the agent. This is not critical.

This problem is fixed in Wazuh 3.7.1 and you can see a related issue here. If you have a previous version, I would recommend you to update your installation.
