Hi,

The error "wazuh-remoted: CRITICAL: remoted connection is not configured" indicates that the Wazuh Remoted service is not properly configured to accept connections from agents.

Possible Causes:

1. Missing or incorrect configuration file
   • The file /var/ossec/etc/ossec.conf does not contain the <remote> section.
2. Port is not configured or blocked: Wazuh Remoted listens on port 1514/UDP or whatever port configured in <remote> section, ensure this port is open.
3. Incorrect file permissions
• There may be permission issues with configuration files.

/var/ossec/etc/ossec.conf file is empty.

Is this normal? I did not do anything.

What should I do? Should I recreate the ossec.conf file?

Did you specify the right path for ossec.conf?

Please provide more context (version, os, last ossec.log entries (piped warn and error)

Did wazuh work correctly before?

What did you change to get this error (updates, upgrades, config, etc.)

Hello,

I was also very surprised. I had not made any changes. I noticed that the disk was full. Then there was no config file.
I solved it like this. I created a new config file and then it gave an API error. I fixed the API error and the password in the API file and the problem was solved.
