Hi all,

I'm encountered a problem with WaveSurfer and my setup. I can do test pulses without a problem, but cannot collect any data using the "Play" or "Record" buttons in the main window; as soon as I click one of these buttons, WaveSurfer stops responding and MATLAB crashes. I tried a few iterations of National Instruments' drivers & software, multiple MATLAB versions and WaveSurfer 1.0.5 and 0.982 to no avail. However, 0.982 throws the attached error. Any leads as to what this could mean?

Update: I tried multiple permutations with software versions. There must be some underlying incompatibilities with the existing programs/packages/software in the computer I'm using to record data.
MATLAB 2018b with WaveSurfer 0.982 and the most recent version of NI software seemed to do the trick with my PCIe-6374 and BNC-2110.

Hi all,

We encountered an error attempting to run WaveSurfer on Matlab 2021b (I think; the most current version) when updating a computer.
The oscilloscope began to run very slow and intermittently.  Problem was resolved by running an older version (Matlab 2018) which was what we had run on the previous computer.
I can't guarantee this problem will replicate (If someone else is running 2021 versions, great) *but* just thought it was not easy to figure out this was the problem and not something else.
