Subject: RE: Motion sensor controlled fixture

Myron,

Here is the estimate for adding a fixture and having it controlled by a motion sensor.  The motion sensor will be located at the South end of a 4' fixture closest to the elevators and away from the garage door.  I will need to remove some of the rigid insulation to avoid drilling into conduit, plumbing or any other objects hidden under the insulation.  I should be able to reinstall the insulation and support it with the fixture supports but cannot guarantee reinstalling the insulation.

Estimate
$600 plus tax

Included

Installing fixture

Installing motion sensor

Installing wiring from nearest fixture available

Exclusions

Repair of insulation

Above this location?

To have that area lighted if someone is standing there seems ideal to me.  A few years ago 110 scared the crap out of me when I went to put some yard/wet food waste in the container at 1100pm.  He was just standing there in front of the panels.  He didn't say or do anything, just stood there.  It hasn't happened since but I still look around very carefully when I go down there late or when it's so dark.  I vote yes for this bid.

I agree with Marjie on this. Small spend for something that has huge benefits! :)

Best,
Christina

One more thing…

If the Board is considering LED lights in the garage it would be an opportune time to do that when the motion sensor is installed.
