There was a lot of crap on the top of the gasket seal that goes all the way around the center seam of the tub, so I took the gasket out and cleaned it up and the crevaces out. I'm assuming that it's a good idea to put some silicone on both sides of the seal when it's reinstalled. In the video you only put the silicone on one side, I'm guesing because you didn't pull the whole gasket out. Also, I'm assuming that the two larger smooth surfaces of the seal face towards the front and the back of the tub and the two crevices face towards the sides, or outside of the tub. Let me know if I have that correct. Thank you.

You should buy a brand new seal for the tub.

I sprayed pure silicone caulking in the grooves in the tub so that The gasket would seat more easily.

Then I carefully started applying the clips to the sides of the tub once I put the two pieces Together.

Also check out the belt that connects way in the back the motor to the basket wheel.  If you can see cracks in the belt, get a new one.

In fact, the belt Is not that expensive as far as I recollect. I bought one as a reserve Just in case.
You have to put it someplace where you’ll always know where it is!!

Good luck
