Tomogram deconvolution in Warp

Hi all,

I have a quick question regarding tomogram deconvolution in Warp (Windows).

I was wondering what algorithm is used for tomogram deconvolution in Warp.
Specifically, is it a Wiener-type CTF deconvolution, or is it limited to phase flipping only?

Hi Mingyu,

It is a Wiener-type CTF deconvolution as described in the original Warp paper, Supplementary Figure 2:

The intuition is to boost the very low frequencies to enhance contrast, while attenuating everything past the first zero crossing of the CTF to remove noise.
