I'm following the quick start guide, and although everything appears straightforward to me, I can't get past the first step.

After specifying 1) the folder with movies and 2) folder with .mdoc files I get the message "No movies found for TS_01.mrc, or none have been processed in Warp yet." and I do not get a list with checkboxes visible on the right side.

The directory I specify for 1 and 2 contain the .mdoc and the set of individual tilt movies. I suspect I'm missing something obvious here because I can't find any other similar questions in this group.

I have a similar issue with a current data set using .tif files and their associated .mdoc files.  When I worked with the tutorial data EMPIAR-10164 this portion of the pipeline did not have any issues.  I have a similar question, am I missing something obvious in the 2D processing that means the movies are not being generated?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi both,

Sounds like a path inconsistency between your data and the movies - check against the tutorial data set and fix manually on a copy of the mdocs should solve it 🙂

Cheers,

Alister

Thanks for the prompt reply, Alister.  I figured it out eventually.  The issue I had was that each tilt movie had its own .mdoc file.  Fortunately, I also had .mdoc files for each tilt series.  Once that was used WARP was fine.  What I'm curious about is that in the WARP Quick Start: Tilt Series section (http://www.warpem.com/warp/?page_id=378) it states " If there are multiple mdoc files per tilt series (e. g. “plus” and “minus” after bi-directional collection), you can specify several suffixes."  I wasn't clear how to use this function.  I tried a few combinations but then figured out the alternative solution.

Thanks for your feedback.

Cheers,

Stefan

Oh, and one more thing.  I also edited the .mdoc file for the correct file; the original 'ImageFile =' was a .st and not a .tif.

Dear all,

I have a the same error message, but couldn't solve the problem with your tips.

I have tilt series, which I only have as .mrc stacks. With relion i changed those to .tif files also leading to having single files per tilt and not in a stack anymore. I processed these with warp and get the same error message (No movies found for Auto2RiboTS01.mrc, or none have been processed in Warp yet.) when I want to do the stack. I changed in the mdoc files "ImageFile =" to .tif and my mdoc files are for each tilt series and not for each single tilt.

I've been running warp before without an issue and can't figure out what warp needs. I assume something with the mdoc files is off.

I've figured out the error by now.
My SubFramePath line had a different file name, as the frame files. I only had to change to the correct file name and this made it work.

I encountered the same message, so I applied the two solutions mentioned above.
(I converted my file from .eer to .tif using relion.)
First, I changed the "Imagefile=" to .tif.
Second, I renamed the subframepath to match the frame names, but I still encounter the 'no movies found' error.

I've figured out the error by now.
After matching the name of subframepath with the frame name and restarting WARP, the issue was resolved.
(I didn't need to change the Imagefile.)
