ATTN: Are you a student? Are you interested in learning how design can help you transform your neighborhoods in a positive way? The Studio DC program is currently recruiting students 16+ to participate in a 10 week - Saturday program funded in part by the DC Department of Energy and the Environment. This opportunity will teach students about urban design, planning, landscape architecture, and environmental engineering so that they can use what they have learned to design a stormwater management strategy for some of the Districts targeted watersheds in the Anacostia - Hickey Run and Watts Branch tributaries. All district students are encouraged to apply. Specifically - students of color from Wards 5 & 7. The application deadline is August 15th, 2019.
