There is a red pick-up truck, no markings, with some sort of large white container in the back, across from Pam’s at 455 Walhalla. Just below where Clinton Heights joins Walhalla. There is one person I can see in the driver’s seat. Has been there for awhile. No activity outside of truck but they seem to be watching…

Any ideas who this might be and what they are doing? I can’t walk down the alley and around to go down Walhalla to check it out.

They just pulled away while I was typing first message. Maybe they saw me watching. Keep an eye out in case they just moved further into the ravine on Walhalla and stop again. (The large white container is big enough to hold a deer…)

That sounds like the contractors the city is using for the honeysuckle removal project. Yesterday there was a red pickup truck along with a green truck with a boom arm and also a wood hauler with a white cab all working together. I’m guessing the red truck is waiting for the rest of the team to arrive.

Or could be waiting to dump stuff into the creek… I don’t know if semi trucks have their own bathrooms or not but that was another concern was that they were dumping stuff into the creek or would release the bathroom waste into the creek. The one that was out front was essentially a little mobile home. I’m glad the pickup is gone - my thought was they were going to release something out here.

Yes,  I agree. That is the truck I saw working in the ravine with tree removal.
But thanks for paying attention!

The green truck with the boom and the red truck were back later, so yes, it was the tree removal folks.
Thanks everyone.
