Many of you might be familiar with https://www.karhukoti.com/Maidenhead-Grid-Square-Locator, as a pretty great way to locate where you are especially if you're running /P for a contest (I miss the VHF/UHF rover category).

However, sometimes you want another couple of digits to get an even smaller square, well, try this site, https://www.egloff.eu/qralocator/  While it doesn't have as many features as karhukoti's site, it goes to 10 characters, (if you believe them, apparently there is some discrepancy in this field).

Just pan and zoom and you'll see... OF77vx92ir might seem somehow familiar (or possibly iq on the end).

I could have used the 10 character locator recently in an email to my Japanese Ham friend, describing the location of WH.

There is an excellent free app on the App store as well, been using it for years.

I started using Maidenhead back in about 1982 for 10 ghz activities back in the UK.

There are apps to allow you to plot paths between locators as well.
