Upcoming AD, and meeting

Hi Everyone,

Quick note to advise that we will be opening the shack from about 10am to at least 3pm this coming Saturday (21st). I'll be bringing some of the gear we have from Terry ZLT along so that we can test it and decide its fate based on the results.

I was going to bring my 23cm transverter for another trial run, but I seem to have managed to allow some smoke to escape from the PA - I know not quite how at this stage. So waiting a week for some new FETs to arrive - bother. I might bring it along for a physical show and tell (smell?).

We -may- also have a guest visitor from City of Melville if schedules line up.

Following on from the AD we have our regular monthly on-line meeting lined up for Monday 22nd at 7pm Perth time, the (standing) google meet link is:  meet.google.com/iyo-zjww-kzn for which you only need an internet connection and a web-browser (you do NOT need a Google login to participate).

Mark and I have discussed an agenda, which will be posted soon, along with a President's report.

Sounds like you are having a great time there except for the magic smoke.   But you retain your sense of humour!

Looking forward to hearing that you repaired it successfully.   Any thoughts as to ewhy the smoke escaped?   Too high a vswr on tx?
