Almost no wind to speak of, so uncommon here.Still snowing.  on East Side, rough ice starts as you enter the curve, on.West side starts a few hundred yards before the blue and white mediterranean villa and I was glad to have my poles on the rough , though you can do without.  i would not call this destination skating , but if you are nearby, really eager or seeking and looks like good family fun at the south end, bring helmets for the kids and while you're at it for yourself too.  🙂

Morey today:  Lots of people skating. The wide brushed loop is 3.4 miles, with ice on the east side of the loop very nice, just a few small rough spots. It gets worse as the loop takes the turn across the lake, nice to be able to pole there, and is quite good again when you get as far south as the boat launch on the west side.
