In case of interest to anyone, at the Colchester REI is a large, long Women’s Dry Suit for sale. Low $200’s in the Retuned Area, Looks newish to me.

Probably someone in this Group returned it and can explain the why of it??

Peter,

I think that would be mine. I took advantage of their generous return policy and got a semi-dry suit the next size up. The suit was great but I’m navigating a rotator cuff issue and I needed a little height to get in and out.

I would definitely recommend though the gaskets are tight…

Kitty and I were formerly twins in the suits. After about 2 years, the gaskets are now less tight for me. Just know that you can always cut a ring off the gaskets to make it fit a little better. There are instructions.

We just addressed the tight gaskets issue.  Many recommend against cutting them because it can so easily go wrong.  It is possible to stretch them (instructions are available in many places online)  and we had good results with that.  it's certainly worth trying first, may need to be repeated occasionally.

Important to be very careful when handling gaskets for any reason as even a small nick or tear can become a big one requiring replacement.

Best,
Jo
