The ice on Colchester Pond is one inch thick, at best, but the entire body of water is frozen.

At Indian Brook Reservoir in Essex, roughly 1/3 of the ice is about two inches thick and appears to be skateable. Since I was solo and the woman running with her dog looked aghast, I decided not to risk it, particularly since it was a small surface. The rest of the reservoir appeared to be brand new ice that won't be solid enough for a while.

Lastly, I have a second hand report that Lake Cami is still open water.

Please let this be a reminder that this list only works if you report conditions that are good, bad, or non-existent. I know that more people are scouting and skating than posting so please, Please, PLEASE contribute when you can. Thank you.

Hello All;
There was some promising looking frozen forest in Richmond, and a large frozen puddle at the bottom of the round church hill where we thought it would be fun to play hockey at least- but alas it was only 1/4 inch thick. Very disappointing!

I was wondering if anyone has checked on the intervale in Burlington, or the sea caves!  We might do ticklenaked tomorrow since it looks like it'll stay below freezing there at least until Sunday :)
