Thank you, Jo, for your detailed reports. I’ll be with my spouse at the Fairlee boat ramp at 8.00 am to explore those lanes you describe, and if there’s time left, we may do a quick lap or two on Miller pond. Anyone looking for company is most welcome to join us. Happy skating, Erzo

I'm so jealous you are all still able to skate! Living in Pennsylvania means we get spring earlier and earlier. It's consistently been in the mid to upper 60s, and there's no ice left anyplace. I have enjoyed scouring this forum and reading all of your posts and profiting from the vast amounts of knowledge you all have! So thank you for that! 

I can't wait to get out there next year and experience some true Nordic Skating, now that I have a pair of proper skates! 
Now if only I can get the bindings attached properly, given the metric measurements of the screws!
