{VSC-IISc} Gentle reminder for VSC Session (11th November 2025-Tuesday)

The VSC session will be held in person and online mode today from 6.30-8.30PM at the Warden room in A block hostel(near hall above A mess, 1st floor). If you are not able to find the classroom kindly call to the number below. Today we will continue the chapter from The central theme of Srimad Bhagavatham.

Meeting minutes of last class:

1. So long as every object in the world is associated with Bhagavan, the world is real.
2. Do love for love's sake without expecting anything in return. This was told in the context of Ahaithuki bakthi(motiveless devotion)
3. A few steps involved in the realization of the supreme were told.

• The nama japa eradicates the evil tendencies in the mind
• Secondly one has to keep himself in the company of holy men and scriptures.
• This will help him face towards bhagavan.
• The attributes of rajas and tamas like greed and lust will be removed now.
• This will remove the worldly attachments
• Thus one can realize the Supreme.
• We also started seeing Dhruva charitra. 

Today we will start from Prahlada charitra.
