Hi guys; 

Summer is fast upon us and I was just wondering how many of us are still around...?  

FYI, if anybody (1) remembers, or (2) cares, I (regretfully) got rid of my '78 CX500,and now have this - my '78 KZ650-


I was wondering if anybody's doing any riding this year...?

Ditto. And that KZ650 looks great! You know I've got a soft spot for KZs.

I've been for a couple rides with the Cville Motorcycle Riders group on meetup.com. If you're not a member or haven't tuned in for a while I suggest checking it out. The group is under new management and there seems to be a lot happening. https://www.meetup.com/motorcycle-111/

John, you could suggest a vintage ride or cruise-in here and/or in the meetup.com group. I'd certainly be interested and others probably would too.

Yes, I have something in the back of my brain - maybe a fundraiser/race/show kind of thing....don't know yet. But I've promised myself I am doing more Riding this summer than wrenching...

Hey, Dan! You guys still living just down the road from me?   Yes, sadly I (against my better judgement) sold my CX- I loved that bike; I got a '78 KZ650 instead.  I was just telling Trey I want to do more riding than wrenching this summer, too...

I’m still active though not riding as much as I would like.

 

1986 Yamaha SRX600 and 2001 Ducati Monster

 

The SRX really could use some love. Time for new tires and the clutch is not 100%.

There's  a car show in Fluvanna, June 8th we could crash....just ride in and check out the cars...plus one of our radio stations is doing a remote there that day...

I'm still out here.  Don't do as much riding as I used to, but still have my 1980
Suzuki Gs1000GT and love it.  It now has a sidecar with it and it's great fun for the grandkids and this kid as well.
