A weird issue with time! won't travel on my iPhone

Hello everyone, I'm currently traveling through the southeast of Alaska. And I've been traveling for a couple of weeks now. And a question popped into my mind that I needed to ask everyone that travels and I know that there are quite a few people on these two list that travel. I wanted to know, if you've had issues and how you fixed it with your time on your iPhone when you have traveled particularly by boat. I'm currently on a cruise, and when we left Vancouver, went into Alaska, it switched from Vancouver down to Alaskan time then when we left port went back to sea, it went back to Vancouver time and we hadn't even left Alaska. Wonder if anybody else's occurred this issue.

Any chance it’s to do with geo locating which you possibly don’t have wifi or cell data while on the ships.

 

 

I’ve never travelled by sea but flying between               cuntrys I had to change my time zone myself.
