iskeyword+= invalid argument on some chars

Hello list,

iskeyword+=á works fine, iskeyword+=č and any other Czech char with a ˇ like ěš etc. throws an error: E474: Invalid argument: iskeyword+=č.
I'm on a freshly compiled vim9. Any ideas?
