failure of the popupwindow test for the vim-appimage repo

Bram,
for a while now, building the appimage in the vim/vim-appimage
repository fails, because of an error in
Test_popupwin_previewpopup_6.dump

The diff looks like this:

It looks like the commandline does not echo the last command (:pedit).
Any idea what would be causing this? The latest released appimage is
version 8.1.1517 so I am thinking about skipping this particular test at
least for the appimage repo.

We can clear the command line. Apparently this version of Vim decides
to redraw and ends up clearing the command line. It's irrelevant for
the test.
