Hi Bram,

Someone added a message about Ukraine to the wiki page:

What do you think of this?
If you don't like this, I can revert it.

Currently, the wiki pages can be edited by anyone.
There is a setting to restrict editing to the members of the vim repository.
What do you think of this setting?

Regards,
Ken Takata

When I click on the name associated with the change that added the
Ukraine message, there's a 404 from GitHub.

There is the github project
https://github.com/vshymanskyy/StandWithUkraine
which look legitimate. It has the same banner, and offers
links to different organizations.

The link from the banner on the vim wiki goes to a
*different web site* with an almost identical URL.

I'm suspicious.

I'm OK with expressing support for the Ukraine, but this is over the
top. Not sure where else to put it. On Vim.org I just added the flag
colors. It's still a bit too much too, I'll see if I can change that.

A link to a payment site suggests that we think it is OK, but I have no
idea where the money goes, thus we should not do that. Someone who
wants to donate can find places for that easily.

I don't think we have had a problem with this until now. Did you have
to remove something before?

Hi Bram,

I confirmed that you updated the wiki page.

Only once, but there was spam a few months ago.

OK, let's leave it open until it gets annoying. It's likely to happen
that someone discovers the github wiki system and starts spamming...
