Artificial light

Hi VI-Suite Team,

I tested Artificial Lighting in VI-Suite from your Youtube; VI-Suite 0.4  Artificial Lighting Simulation. I set material, normal, and nodes but it could not calculate. 

I am not sure what I missed. Could you help me to see the blender file.

You are in edit mode.

Do the geometry and context export again in object mode.

It was not in the edit mode. I work on OSX (intel), IES file analysis is not available.

Could you update the failure task.?

Ah, then it's probably because you have a space in the Blender filename or the directory path it's saved to. Radiance doesn't like spaces.

I checked the name of the blender file and IES FIle after I edited. 
It could not analysis.

the directory path: /Users/tiratj/BLENDER/2024_WORK/VI_Suite/

Its file name: IES_Test23.blend

Its IES file name: IRDL12620LED24D.ies

Hi, Dear Dr. Ryan

I still tried to take the vi-suite to analyze  IES light  many times after I improved to its name and path. I created a new and moved blender file and IES file into a new drive; no space in its name.
I m not to success, It s not available and the Xquarts is darkness after I clicked the preview.

I work on mac (Intel) and blender 4.2.5LTS. I m not sure that other people can run this light analysis?.

I would like to wait your sound to solve this problems.

That doesn't look like an LM 63 formatted ies file, which is the format ies2rad says it works with, and ies2rad can't process this one.
