Dear class

I am attaching 3 interesting articles and questions for all the cases. 

We meet on July 31 to discuss the Dabbawallah (A).

Each group will prepare to respond to the case questions.

The groups below will make 5 minute presentations on specific questions. These groups will load their presentations before the class starts.

Group 14: Case question:

1. What factors need to be in place for a service like dabbawallahs meal distribution network to work effectively?

p 1:Case question:

1. What are the economics of the dabbawallah meal distribution network? What is the business model? Is this model scalable?

Group 2: Case question:Is the dabbawallah meal distribution an example of world class service? If yes, why hasn’t this model been successfully replicated elsewhere? If not, what changes are required to achieve world-class status?
