Hello,
I am trying to export a structure as PNG and I'm checking the box to let the background be transparent. However, it does not export as transparent when I check on Windows photos app and when I load it into a powerpoint. It also does not work when I try to save it as a .TIFF file too. Am I supposed to set the background to something other than white in order for this to work? (Version 3.5.7).

It is dependent on graphics driver. I tried on several PCs. Sadly only some of drivers (vendors) seem to support alpha channel in the frame buffer.

Best regards,
Koichi

Dear Koichi,

As you mentioned it depends on the graphics driver. While I cannot export PNG with transparent background by using VESTA(v3.5.7), my computer can display pictures with transparent background. Do you have any idea about this issue? Actually previously the VESTA on my computer can export transparent PNG. I don't know what happened.

Thanks,
Hengxin
