I am currently implementing some loadbalancing using HAProxy with Vert.x.
The whole thing looks fine but I am running into this issue:


How can I apply the fix suggested by Norman in Vert.x?

Hi,

as far as I recall, you can now set an exception handler on io.vertx.core.http.HttpConnection to handle this exception yourself.

Just got time to look at it now.
This works for Http and TCP but it looks like there is  a bug in MQTT-Server as the exceptionHandler isn't being used even if provided.
I will file a bug.
