First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the founders of VerneMQ.

I am a new user and currently have the following setup topology:

  • 1 Load Balancer at IP: 172.21.115.13

  • 4 VerneMQ Cluster Nodes

On the client side, I connect using the Load Balancer IP: 172.21.115.13.

Is this topology setup correct?
Why is the routing score showing as 0/100?

Hello Muhammad,

Yes, a load balancer/proxy in front of a cluster is the basic correct set up.

The routing score expresses the ratio of local delivery vs. remote delivery of incoming traffic per node.
So in theory 0/100 means a 100% delivery to a remote cluster node.

It probably can appear skewed due to either a low number of messages or the status page reloading every 10 seconds.
But it will allow you to detect imbalanced traffic patterns over time.

Regards,
André
