Does anyone know about the status of this beetle here (assuming it is IDed correctly)? 
We found this while netting bees this summer:

Thanks Charley. I did and I was wondering if others have had any records in VT yet. 
I didn't see any on GBIF or for VT on Bugguide or anyplace.

It seems pretty distinctive looking. Someone could check the collection in Randolph where it might or might not be IDed. I know there's a lot of Curculionidae there.

I'm no weevil expert - but the insect I would say is plausible here - it would certainly help if there was a better picture
