Position: Data Architect with Qliksense
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: Long Term
The requirement here is of Data architect who should be good in data modelling, data warehousing, ETL concepts & have good exposure to Qliksense - Mandatory

The requirement here is of Data architect who should be good in data modelling, data warehousing, ETL concepts & have good exposure to Qliksense - Mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Able to help on data architect for BI platform
- Dimensionally model raw data for consumption by business users, BI developers
- Design data pipelines in both code-based and GUI-based platforms to populate data models
- Build quality checks directly into delivered solutions with test-driven development
- Understand and translate business requirements from business users and analysts into technical design specs
- Present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders for continued improvement
- develop, design and support BI products and pipelines
- Access & transform data from multiple databases (including Oracle, Hive, & Postgres) using tools such as Qlik
- Promote the need for self-serve analytics and partner with the business to create new ways to explore and visualize data
- Should be able to work with Global team
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM-related area preferred)
- Knowledge of dimensional, data warehousing concepts such as star/snowflake schemas, SCDs, etc. preferred
- Experience writing complex SQL queries to retrieve & write dimensional data
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Qlik ,Tableau etc.)
- Strong professional communication skills with both technical & non-technical audiences
- Be inquisitive for knowledge, drive for results, yet humble
- Experience with Python , Java is a plus
- Experience with Spark, presto, hive is a plus.
