Position: IOS and Android Developer/Lead

Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 12+ Months

Primary Skill set : (iOS & Android lead)

• Own delivery of enterprise chat messaging platform based on Real Time Push Messaging technology
• Hands on design/development of native iOS and Android applications
• Hands on design/development to handle encryption/decryption of data at rest and motion
• Hands on design/development of dealing with push notifications and deep linking Others
• Work closely with solutions architects to analyze possible technical solutions for business needs
• Develop a solution that is optimized for device resource utilization (Memory, CPU, Battery, Network)
• Strong focus on software quality via developer level testing and test automation
• Contribute towards design review and approval process and follow up to closure
• Work with Business Analyst, UX Designer and Business Teams and contribute towards defining UX
• Collaborate with the creative and UX teams and during  the creation screens and wireframes
• Use data and prototypes to test concepts and theories
• Conversant in trying out new technologies (rapid R&D)
• Using Agile principles; create features and stories to guide development and implementation

Skills:

• Extensive experience and deep knowledge of Native Mobile Development 
• Experience  / exposure to Android Native development as well, so as to help team in case of emergencies
• Good working knowledge of implementing APIs and working with JSON payloads
• Experience in API design, performance optimization, client architecture or tools in the mobile space. 
• Knowledge in UI design principles and making apps work
• Experience with caching mechanisms
• Experience with optimizing app for hardware resource utilization.
• Experience with offline data storage, encryption, decryption
• Experience with the publishing process for app stores
• Experience with Unit Testing

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience with Mobile App Development using Native (One platform primary, other secondary: Android / iOS; but experience required on both; ability to deep dive on need basis on secondary platform is necessary)
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum methodology
• Self-Organize and must be able to work under tight deadlines and reliably deliver work of the highest standards on time
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to broad audiences.
• Deep experience in designing and developing highly scalable, highly available and maintainable mobile applications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong sense of ownership
• Commitment to getting things done fast and doing it well.
