Position: Splunk Developer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

• Requirements gathering and Interact directly with client project team members and operational staff.
• Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
• 7+ years' application development and implementation experience.
• Develop and design an “end to end” transaction visibility, including large scale processing, integration, and analysis of system logs and databases in Splunk.
• Develop Splunk apps and add-ons using Simple XML dashboard visualizations, field extractions, Splunk props and transform commands or Splunk Processing Language (SPL) or, only when necessary.
• Develop statistical behavior models, and provide support for the development of machine learning approaches.
• Develop visualization dashboards and indicators that identify anomalous activities.
• Assist with the development of project status briefings and dashboards for IRS executives
• Interact directly with client project team members and operational staff.
