Position: Data Architect
Location: Peoria, IL
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

• Strong experience as a Data Architect
• Excellent in understanding & knowledge in data architecture, data analysis, & data modelling, Design suitable OLTP and OLAP data model/architecture and Metadata for data warehouses implementation, Security and Data Quality and BI Solution
• Experience with Relational and Dimensional data modelling using ERWIN, understanding of Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmon methodology for Dimensional Modelling, Star and Snowflake Schemas.
• Thorough understanding of DWH
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise Data warehouse applications and participated in various phases of Data Warehouse/Data Mart Development Life Cycle including architecture, design, development, implementation, administration, migration and post implementation support.
• Able to create conceptual, logical and physical data model & design data model end to end
• Able to design & develop end to end data warehouse using Star scheme or snowflake schema
• Experience in database systems like SQL Server, Oracle etc.
• Strong communication skills both oral & written. Should able to manage customer & end users
• Strong experience in documentation, preparing DFDs, data dictionaries etc.
• Experience in using data modeling techniques and tools (focused on Dimensional design), Entity Relationship diagrams etc.
