Position: Cognos BI Developer Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: Long Term
Extensive experience on multiple full life cycle Data Warehouse implementations – ETL+ Reporting
Reporting:
5+ years of experience BI Database Experience
Cognos BI experience 3+ years (Framework Manager/Data Modeling)
Extensive experience in business intelligence and OLAP
Extensive experience in metadata management and master data management preferred
Hands-on skills in data modeling; logical, physical and dimensional modeling
Experience working with data teams, acting as a mentor in the design and development of Business Intelligence Data Environments.
The candidate will have a desire for providing guidance for businesses cultivating their OLAP expertise
ETL:
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) ETL Experience, as well as ETL Design and Programming
Experience working with data teams, acting as a mentor in the design and development of Business Intelligence Data Environments.
The candidate will have a desire for providing guidance for businesses cultivating their OLAP expertise
Good to Have:
Teradata, TM1, and/or RedShift experience development experience
Work with RDBMS like Sql Server, Teradata, creating database design, creating tables, data migration, writing Stored Procedures, Functions, Joins indexes, constraints and Triggers for different Data Models and knowledge of MS access
