Position: NSX Firewall Engineer
Location: Newark, NJ
Duration: Long Term

Mandatory Skills:
We are looking for strong NSX Firewall resource along with Cloud Security knowledge.
 
CASB:

• Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) Administration
• Enable key partners to develop, launch and support McAfee CASB Connect based integrations with cloud providers and technology partners
• Demonstrate integrations for POCs
• Perform Day-to-Day Activities, which includes handling Threats, Anomalies, Policy Incidents & violations.
• Handle Shadow IT Support – Logs coming from Palo Alto & Proxy.
• Blocking the Bad & High-risk domain in Palo Alto & Proxy.
• Provide CASB Solution for project requirements like cloud integrations & APIs
• Implement Security controls, best practices and use cases in the CASB management.

NSX:

• Manage NSX firewall rulesets for East-West Traffic and effectively create Micro Segmentation.
• Discover Application specific Micro-Segmentation Traffic and implement NSX Firewall Ruleset accordingly.
• Administer new application onboarding and troubleshoot related issues.
• Monitor regular backups and availability to adhere to predefined SLAs.
• Design, implement, configure, and manage VMware NSX Firewall and VRealize environments.
• Assist in managing the VMware NSX virtual networking and security environment
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Collaborate with customer account teams to facilitate successful customer proof of concept deployments.
• Perform capacity and resource planning, assess risks and recommend, design and implement VMware server environments
• Responsible for configuring and managing Security Tags, Security groups, firewall rules and Security policies on NSX for Application profiling/Micro-segmentation project.
• Responsible for analyzing vRNI traffic flow to create NSX polices.
• Investigating vRLI traffic logs for troubleshooting Applications issues.
• Monitor Log insight tool for live traffic to troubleshoot the issue.
• Validate the CMDB/Techscape App, server info and work with both teams for updating in CMDB and Techscape tools.
• Analyze the flow after block mode and work with App owner to identify App flow and allow based on the criticality.
• Handle Incident management post block mode support for avoiding production issues.
• Install/Manage NSX manager and map with ESXi hosts for new environment and fix.
