Technical Analyst/Business Analyst with strong exp you have on AEM

Overview:

As a Technical Analyst based in San Jose CA, you will be responsible for working with Engineering IT and EN in our Process Transformation. This will include writing Technical Standards, User Story, information architecture, information mapping, defining the process, establishing toolset and identifying automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Use superior writing skills and exceptional attention to detail to conceptualize, plan, develop and write high-quality technical standards documentation

·         Drive innovation and experience with new-age content formats, information architecture and mapping

·         Find opportunities to improve quality, usability and productivity

·         Gain an in-depth understanding of the asks through internal/external connects to pilot innovate content development and delivery methods

·         Hands-on experience using CMS tools for content publishing like AEM

·         Content architecture: Content audit and insights, metadata and Taxonomy framework definition, persona analysis, journey mapping

·         Content experience: Convert the content architecture to a successful content experience.

·         Think strategically about Technical Standards content and how it can be used by the end-user

·         Identify and recommend process and tooling improvements across the entire Software Development Lifecycle

·         Coach and mentor other team members in our Process Transformation

·         Organize and facilitate planning, review, demo and other meetings as needed

·         Develop documentation and training material, and conduct training/coaching sessions

·         Maintain confidence, well-informed, data-centric points-of-view to challenge entrenched views and bring in new ideas & creative solutions

·         Enthusiastically engage with partners to build consensus around actions. Make recommendations and inspire change across multiple levels of the organization.

·         Process simplification and process design for organizational and process change management for software engineering organizations

Whom You’ll Work With:

The Enterprise Networking (EN) Engineering group develops software across routing, switching, wireless, IOT and network management platforms at Client. The EN Operations Team enables business growth by driving strategic- planning, initiative management, business operations, and SDLC process transformation initiatives.

Primary Skills:

·         Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

·         experience in software development and engineering program management

·         Experience in Software Development Lifecycles / Methodologies, including Agile, waterfall and hybrid methods

·         Experience leading process transformation / change management efforts

·         Process re-engineering, simplification, value stream mapping

·         In-depth experience in lifecycle management tools (examples: CA Agile Central (Rally), Atlassian suite including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Github)

·         Prior Experience as an Agile process coach is an advantage

·         Good knowledge of Networking Technology & products, and ability to understand technical issues at a high level in collaborating with Engineers and Product Managers

·         Superior presentation skills and ability to present ideas and material to the organization

·         Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities at a time

·         Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving with a high attention to detail.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse personality types and ability to communicate ideas to partners at all levels

 

Secondary Skills:

Client needs strong Technical Analyst with experience writing functional specifications, technical requirements, user stories, test cases, etc. Experience with AEM authoring and publishing, DITA, XML, Rally and Cisco experience. An analyst kind of person who will be able to do the work done by a Business analyst by talking to the various stakeholders, gathering all the required information and do some customizations on the technical content that is already available. Not completely rewrite it as a tech writer but make changes to the existing technical content as per the suggestions/recommendations/expectations from the stakeholders.

 

Educational Qualifications

BE or equivalent plus
5-10 years of technical experience
