Position Title:    Sr. Front End Web Developer (React)

Location:-           Waltham, MA

Duration:-           Long Term Contract

Implement partner: Xebia

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

Candidate should be strong in React.JS and HTML and CSS. 

Job description :

 

Responsibilities

1.       Develop and maintain website using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & React.JS

2.       Build JavaScript application using EmberJS JavaScript framework

3.       Build reusable modules/libraries ensuring cross-browser compatibility and UI data validation

4.       Research industry trends to ensure that our standards and practices are current and poised to guide our team to deliver the best website possible.

5.       Review application code to identify and prioritize opportunities for code improvement.

6.       Perform technical feasibility analysis of UI/UX designs

7.       Architect web framework using appropriate technologies that meet the business need

8.       Produce responsive web pages from mobile to desktop

9.       Produce ADA WCAG 2.0 A and AA compliant web pages

10.   Collaborate with other team members and business owners

11.   Perform on-call support on rotation basis as needed (one week coverage every 3-4 months)

 

Requirements

1.       Bachelor's degree in IT Engineering/Software or equivalent work experience

2.       A minimum of 5-6 years of front-end development.

3.       Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

4.       Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript (ES6)

5.       Familiarity with EmberJS or similar frameworks such as AngularJS or ReactJS

6.       Good understanding of asynchronous request handling (promises), partial page updates, and AJAX

7.       Experience using code versioning tools such as GIT/Bitbucket

8.       Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them

9.       Good understanding of unidirectional data flow (one-way data-binding)
