Linux Admin with DevOps Exp

Location – Bridgewater, NJ (occasionally Jersey City, NJ)

Long term

• JD
• Below mentioned skillset should be primary along with this experience in typical DevOps technologies would be additional benefit.
• 8+ years of  experience in RHEL administration.
• Manage/Maintain Linux based physical / virtual servers.
• Install software as well as system patches. Working knowledge of yum repository concept in RHEL7
• Work with application support team to help them identify OS level requirement as and when required.
• Manage network, firewall, and routing configuration on RHEL 7 hosts.
• LVM2 configuration / File system management.
• Perform OS level user management , file permission/ownership changes , sudo configuration.
• Good troubleshooting skills to manage system hardware, network, and operating system problems
• working experience with shell scripting ( BASH / KSH ) concept
• Monitoring alerts handling , service requests management.
• Support innovation of system architecture.
• Mentor junior team members and handle escalation within team.
• Provide on-call support
• Support innovation of system architecture
